{"id":7,"date":"2014-05-31T08:42:49","date_gmt":"2014-05-31T06:42:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.unmb.ro\/eng\/?page_id=7"},"modified":"2014-05-31T10:44:02","modified_gmt":"2014-05-31T08:44:02","slug":"mission-strategy","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/old.unmb.ro\/eng\/about-us\/mission-strategy\/","title":{"rendered":"Mission &#038; Strategy"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Credo<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li><em>Concerning the value and importance of music<\/em><br \/>\u2026in building an actual, multi-cultural and  European integrated society, as the most representative example of efficiency  in the non-verbal communication.<\/li>\n<li><em>Concerning the necessity of the 1-to-1 tuition<\/em><br \/>\u2026as the basis of a qualitative music higher  education.<\/li>\n<li><em>Concerning<\/em> <em>the creative integration<\/em><br \/>\u2026of all the levels of music education, from  childhood to adulthood, including the lifelong learning process.<\/li>\n<li><em>Concerning the collaborative benefits of music<\/em><br \/>\u2026that the exchange of ideas, dialogue and  critical reflection bring in educating, learning and promoting own values.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2> Mission<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-indent:0\">The  mission of National University of Music Bucharest can be defined through its  four functions: <em>preservation,<\/em> <em>orientation<\/em>, <em>filtration <\/em>and<em> training.<\/em><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>  Preservationrepresents the permanent goal in  offering <em>a core of values<\/em> and good  practices, continuously updated. <\/li>\n<li>      Orientation consists in encouraging <em>a personal option and vision<\/em>, as a  result of a previous and profound knowledge of music.<\/li>\n<li>      Filtration <em>clarifies<\/em> the wide and distorted information and <em>gives it a direction<\/em> while encouraging  the critical and reflexive thinking. <\/li>\n<li>      Training creates the premises of <em>shaping the taste <\/em>within the spirit of  the musical tradition and the freedom of innovation. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2>Development Plan  2012-2016<\/h2>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Credo Concerning the value and importance of music\u2026in building an actual, multi-cultural and European integrated society, as the most representative example of efficiency in the non-verbal communication.
