The department offers musical tuition in four directions: string instruments (violin, viola, cello, double bass, harp, guitar), winds (flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, bassoon, pan-flute), brass (French horn, trumpet, trombone, tuba) and percussion. The department coordinates three symphonic orchestras (Universitaria Orchestra, Concerto Orchestra and Academica Orchestra), Violoncelissimo Ensemble and the percussion ensemble Game.
